Prefabricated Construction | Gu Mingwang: Economic Effects of Various Production and Installation Methods for Precast Components

On November 5-6, 2018, the 2018 Academic Annual Conference of the China Construction Industry Modernization Development Committee was successfully held in Shenzhen. The event was guided by the China Society of Architects and the Shenzhen Housing and Construction Bureau, hosted by the Construction Industry Modernization Development Committee of the China Society of Architects, and supported by the Guangdong Construction Industry Association, the Shenzhen Construction Technology Promotion Center, and the Shenzhen Construction Industrialization Association. The Shenzhen Branch of China Construction Technology Group Co., Ltd. served as the organizer.

Attendees included all members of the first council of the China Society of Architects Construction Industry Modernization Development Committee, government leaders from across the country, and over 500 representatives involved in the development, design, production, and construction of prefabricated buildings. The conference focused on the theme “New Era, New Power, New Concept, New Technology”, discussing how to keep pace with current developments and realize the dream of new power assembly.

Key topics included the impact of new concepts driving change, the integration of new technologies to foster innovation, and other issues relevant to the industry. The participants reached a consensus centered on “providing high-quality final products for society as the core, and comprehensively promoting the development of prefabricated buildings.” They offered valuable suggestions and recommendations aimed at advancing the modernization of China’s construction industry and ensuring the sustainable, steady, and healthy growth of prefabricated buildings.
