The client aims to establish an internal medicine and orthopedic clinic combined with a pharmacy, seeking a design that meets professional standards while maintaining a bright and inviting atmosphere. The site is strategically located along the main road leading to the city center, with an urban planning road to the south that is planned for widening, indicating promising future development opportunities.

During the planning of this new regional medical center, the construction team recognized the importance of crafting a space that distinctly differs from typical commercial roadside buildings. They chose to incorporate the warmth of wood, creating a welcoming environment for patients. The three buildings are unified through consistent wooden facade elements, enhancing visual harmony.

The exterior facades utilize sunoko walls, which enhance air circulation and dry faster, making them more durable than typical wooden exterior walls. The design goal was to create a building that exudes a bright and warm wooden ambiance, with the wooden frame clearly expressed as the internal structure. To ensure this, the design team verified the structural stability while collaborating closely to achieve the desired aesthetic.

The ceiling rafters are designed to draw the eye outward, enhancing the sense of openness. Large open windows on the exterior structure further contribute to a transparent, wooden interior space. This design approach creates a pleasant environment, softly illuminated by natural light.
