With the strong promotion of BIM development and application in Shanghai, along with the establishment of supporting policies, standards, and a market environment suitable for BIM technology by the end of 2016, the city’s major design, construction, consulting, and property management firms have generally acquired the capability to implement BIM technology. By 2017, all government-funded projects above a designated size in Shanghai are required to apply BIM technology, while most socially funded projects above the designated size will also adopt it. Shanghai’s BIM application and management standards will be among the nation’s leaders, with a series of new standards expected to be released soon.

Training Schedule
The course begins with an introduction to BIM concepts, followed by Revit MEP training, pipeline integration, and mastering the mold flipping plugin. The teaching case focuses on a commercial building project. This course is divided into two stages: Architectural Structure and MEP Reinforcement classes, designed to meet the diverse learning needs of students from various majors as well as the specific training requirements of enterprises.
