How to Locate the Column Height Parameter in Revit's Properties Panel

How to Find the Column Height Parameter in the Property Bar in Revit

After drawing a column, you might notice that the default properties bar does not display the column height parameter. To add this height parameter, select the column component and click Edit Family to enter the family editing environment.

Next, switch to the elevation view and dimension the column height. Then, add a dimension label named Column height.

In the parameter settings, select the parameter type (for example, Type) and make sure to check the option Report Parameters.

Finally, reload the family into the project. The column height parameter will now appear in the properties bar and display its values accordingly.
