How to Adjust the Length of the Line in a Revit Viewport Title
After creating a drawing and dragging a view into the drawing area, Revit automatically adds a title to the viewport, which displays the view name. Below the view name, there is a long line. If you want to shorten this line and align it perfectly with the view name, here’s how to do it.
When you select the title itself, you can only modify its type. For viewport titles—whether they include lines or not—you cannot directly change the length of the line from the title’s settings. Instead, you need to select the actual viewport that you dragged into the sheet, which is labeled as “Viewport.”
Once the viewport is selected, small drag handles will appear at both ends of the line beneath the view name. You can use these handles to manually adjust the length of the line, making it shorter or longer to your preference.
