How to Prevent Username Changes When Gaining Permissions During Local Network Collaboration in Revit
In Revit, once you log in with a single user account, the username in the settings cannot be changed.
If you have access to local project files, you can open the file using the “Detach from Central” option. This allows you to completely separate the file for independent editing. However, currently, Revit does not offer a fully locked setting for sharing models via local files.
