Inspecting and Positioning Revit Beams: Highlighting Components and Exporting Parameter Lists

Beam Height Inspection

Locate and highlight beam components in the current view, then export a detailed parameter list.

To begin, open your drawing and select “Beam Height Inspection” from the “General Tools” section under the “Baoye General” tab.

In the pop-up “Structural Clear Height Check” dialog box, all beam elements within the current project will be listed. Selecting an item from this list will automatically locate and highlight the corresponding beam in the view.

To export the current component parameters, simply click the “Export Excel” button within the dialog box. This will save the data as an Excel file on your local device.
