How to Convert 2D Axes to 3D Axes in Revit

Three-Dimensional Axis

You can convert two-dimensional axes into three-dimensional axes. To do this, go to the “Baoye General” tab, find the “Building Structure” section, and select “3D Axis.”

In the pop-up dialog titled “Create 3D Grid”, set the elevation and axis parameters as needed, then click the “Create” button to proceed.

Once the process is complete, you will be able to see the grid displayed in the 3D view.

Note:

A 2D grid must already exist before you can create a 3D grid.
