You can quickly create doors and windows based on linked CAD drawings by using the “Drawing Wall” feature. To get started, select and click on “Drawing Wall” under the “Building Structure” section within the “Baoye Rapid Construction” tab.
In the pop-up dialog box titled “isBIM Quick Model – Wall Quick Creation”, you can set the elevation and types for walls, doors, and windows. Next, select the layers corresponding to walls, doors, and windows, then click the “Create” button, as shown below.
After the program reads the CAD drawing data, it displays the recognized information for walls, doors, and windows for your review.
Once you confirm the recognition is accurate, click the “Confirm” button to proceed with the creation. After completion, the wall, door, and window models based on the drawings will appear in the drawing area.
