Quickly Measure Length, Area, and 3D Dimensions in Revit with Instant Statistics

Measurement Statistics

This tool allows you to measure length and area efficiently. To access it, go to the Baoye General tab, then select and click on Measurement Statistics under the General Tools section.

Once activated, the Measurement Tools window appears, featuring four main function panels: Area, Length, 3D Distance, and Polygon Area.

At the top of this window, you’ll find several general buttons:

• Clear Measured Data – Clears all existing measurement results in the current panel.
• Display More Measurement Information – Expands measurement details.
• Copy Current Measurement Information – Copies the current data to your system clipboard.
• Set Display Options – Customize unit formats and decimal precision.

The Clear Measured Data button removes all current results in the selected panel, as highlighted in the image below.

Clicking Display More Measurement Information reveals detailed measurement data for better insight, shown by the icon marked in the image.

The Copy Current Measurement Information function lets you copy the data from the current panel and paste it into any text editor, such as Notepad.

With the Set Display Options button, you can choose your preferred unit system and adjust decimal accuracy according to your needs.

When you click on the Set Display Options for Measurement Data icon, a Settings dialog box appears. Here, you can select the unit system used for measurements. After making your selection, be sure to click Save to apply the changes.
