The Shuangyue Bay project marks Shenzhen Vanke’s first application of industrial standardized products. The Phase II development covers approximately 320,000 square meters and includes 28 mid-rise and 13 high-rise buildings. Its design boasts a high degree of replicability, making it ideal for industrialized construction methods.

The project integrates 10 advanced technologies and management tools, including aluminum formwork, high-rise construction lifting platforms, early municipal infrastructure, finely controlled interior decoration, factory prefabrication, light steel keel partition walls, and integrated bathrooms.

▲ The project fully employs cutting-edge methods such as aluminum molds, light steel keel gypsum board internal partitions, and lightweight prefabricated wall panels.

▲ High-rise buildings utilize a complete concrete structural system.

Throughout construction, aluminum alloy formwork technology ensures superior wall quality, enhances wall accuracy, and enables the elimination of external wall plastering.

▲ Interior partition walls use light steel keel gypsum board, removing the need for interior plastering. Factory precision manufacturing prevents hollowing and cracking common in traditional plastering.

The high-rise structures feature construction lifting platforms, which reduce the number of safety checkpoints and enhance both safety and the project’s professional image.

During construction, detailed planning coordinated the interweaving of various processes and components to ensure smooth implementation.
For example, in a 33-story high-rise building:
Layer N (Top Floor)

▲ Main structural construction
Layer N-1

▲ Demoulding and treatment of the concrete base surface
Layer N-2

▲ Installation of indoor floor waterproofing and drainage risers

▲ Beginning of exterior wall putty application
Layer N-3

▲ Construction of concrete pounding walls

▲ Installation of aluminum alloy frames and railings

▲ Installation of floor waterproofing

▲ Completion of exterior wall putty and primer application
Layer N-4

▲ Installation of lightweight partition boards in public areas

▲ Electrical piping and wiring
Layer N-5

▲ Transport and placement of fine decoration materials
Layer N-6

▲ Indoor tile laying
Layer N-7

▲ Construction of light steel keel partition walls

▲ Gypsum board ceiling installation

The Vanke Shuangyue Bay Phase II project promotes factory production, shifting away from traditional on-site material processing management. It pioneers the use of industrialized centralized factories on-site with two factories established along the project’s central axis.

These factories are equipped with fully automated computerized machines for hoop reinforcement processing, enabling semi-mechanized centralized handling of materials such as steel bars, tiles, light steel keel, and gypsum boards.

After packaging, semi-finished products are transported vertically and horizontally using machinery like forklifts, dump trucks, and tower cranes.

This approach enhances processing quality, reduces material handling, lowers temporary construction costs, and improves the overall factory environment.
