Engineering Background
Baosteel Building is situated in the A13 plot of the Pazhou Headquarters Economic Zone, Haizhu District, Guangzhou City. It is bordered by West Second Road to the north, Haizhou Road to the east, Pizhou Avenue to the south, and Guihua Road to the west. Developed by Guangdong Baosteel Real Estate Co., Ltd., the project encompasses a total construction area of approximately 147,000 square meters.
The complex includes three underground floors, a three-story commercial podium standing 24.15 meters tall, and a 29-story tower reaching 148.65 meters, with an overall construction height of 149.5 meters. The project is classified as a special-grade construction engineering endeavor.
Structurally, the basement is built with reinforced concrete. The tower above ground features a steel tube concrete frame combined with a reinforced concrete core tube, while the podium employs a steel structure. The building is primarily designed as a large-scale commercial office space, incorporating limited commercial and exhibition areas.

Work Approach and Achievements
The core strategy of the Baosteel Mansion project’s BIM implementation is to continuously advance all applications based on a unified model. This approach ensures a seamless and orderly transition from the design model to the construction model, and finally to the 4D model, preserving the integrity and sustainability of BIM data throughout the project lifecycle.

BIM technology in this project centers on deepening construction design and managing engineering progress through 4D simulation. Moreover, BIM has driven significant advancements in construction organization processes, improving overall efficiency and coordination.
