Overall rendering of the Cultural and Sports Center

General plan of the Cultural and Sports Center
The urban complex above ground consists of five main buildings: a library, theater, museum, broadcasting center, and cultural center. All these structures are connected through the basement level, which primarily serves as a parking garage and houses auxiliary facilities for each unit. Some areas also feature a second basement level for additional parking. The total construction area covers 197,800 square meters.
This project is led by architectural professionals using the ArchiCAD software platform for BIM design across all disciplines. A dedicated BIM Server is established to facilitate collaborative BIM workflows and to complete construction drawing designs during the design phase.

Radio and Television Center

Axonometric view of the Radio and Television Center
Modern architecture here is defined by simplicity, rich cultural heritage, and elegance. These qualities arise not only from technical requirements but also from harmonious proportions and scale.
The tower features a curved form that enhances its imposing and upright presence through visual dynamics, establishing a magnificent city landmark.

Grand Theater

The glass curtain wall transitions from white to transparent glass, producing a subtle gradient effect. The design minimizes metal components by using glass ribs, resulting in a clean and simple facade.
Inside the hall, the smooth, dynamic main staircase is visible through the glass curtain wall, contrasting strikingly with the oval-shaped exterior wall of the auditorium.
The auditorium’s exterior wall extends visually upward, breaking through the entrance hall and continuing outdoors with distinct blocks that create a strong visual impact.

The theater’s facade complements the overall design of the cultural center, featuring multiple curved lines that echo the elliptical steel frame openings.
The exterior combines brown-red copper panel metal curtain walls with glass ribbed curtain walls, and metal louvers are installed selectively.

Library

The library entrance features a three-story-high glass curtain wall, creating a bright and spacious environment. The second-floor exhibition hall uses a solid facade to reduce external distractions within the exhibition space.
Large operable windows ensure ample natural light and ventilation throughout the library.

The building’s exterior facade aligns with the overall shape of the cultural center, featuring a large elliptical arc that echoes the base’s elliptical form, harmonizing with other structures in the complex.
Small windows punctuate the curved solid wall, adding visual interest. Other facades face various internal passages and courtyard spaces within the ellipse, combining solid and void elements to enrich the interior spatial experience.

Museum

The museum’s main entrance features a three-story-high lobby. Situated in the southeast corner is a scenic elevator, offering visitors a unique viewing experience while facilitating easy access to exhibitions. This element also enhances the vertical visual impact of the entrance hall.
At the heart of the museum is a raised atrium that accentuates vertical spatial depth. A glass roof floods the public areas on every floor with natural light. The straight-run staircase connecting floors within the atrium not only supports vertical circulation but also adds dynamic architectural interest through its winding form.

Besides providing auxiliary rooms beneath each building, the basement level contains a dining area and staff restaurant in the central underground courtyard. Parking is arranged in corresponding underground zones around each building to accommodate both employees and visitors.

The basement features three vehicle ramps: the east and west ramps are shared by goods vehicles and buses, while the north ramp is dedicated to buses.
The second basement level houses the energy center serving the entire cultural center complex.
