A sewage treatment project in Sichuan is situated in the northwest of Erlang Town, at the lowest point of the Chishui River. The site spans 10,076 square meters (approximately 15.11 acres). From November 2011 to the end of July 2012, all civil engineering works, equipment installations, single machine debugging, and factory layout tasks were completed. The project entered a joint trial operation phase in August 2012.

The use of BIM technology offers several advantages: simple and intuitive 3D visualizations, effective collision detection, and minimized design changes, all contributing to a smooth construction process. Team members collaborate on the same documents, allowing project progress to be easily monitored at a glance. User-friendly tools such as sectional drawings, annotations, and layout features reduce workloads while enhancing the work experience.

The treatment process employs a two-stage EGSB A20 system combined with distiller’s grains separation, a regulating tank for acid-base neutralization, air flotation, and ozone decolorization for advanced treatment. As before, all civil engineering, equipment installation, single machine debugging, and factory layout were completed between November 2011 and late July 2012, followed by a joint trial operation in August 2012.
