To explore and validate the direct link between BIM application technology development and the construction processes of real estate development companies, Shenzhen Meixin Baozhu Construction Technology Co., Ltd. partnered with Xi’an Vanke Real Estate Co., Ltd. In October 2014, they signed a cooperation agreement to integrate BIM technology in the construction of Buildings 3 and 4 on Plot 8 of Xi’an Vanke City. This collaborative project is now fully underway.
Shenzhen Meixin Baozhu Construction Technology Co., Ltd. is dedicated to researching the integrated application of BIM throughout the entire lifecycle of construction projects. Together with renowned domestic experts and enterprises, they have developed BIM-based engineering project management tools and related applications. To date, they have successfully created multiple core BIM technologies, including cloud rendering for BIM models, a cloud-based collaborative work platform integrating BIM and cloud computing, and lightweight BIM model rendering technology.
This BIM technology collaboration covers various application areas and work scopes. A new technical standard for model input, tailored to meet construction requirements, has been established. During the early modeling phases, designs from multiple disciplines—such as architecture, structural engineering, and MEP—are thoroughly verified. The finalized model then serves as a guide for construction operations.
Moreover, the project aims to extend BIM applications into engineering project management. Through newly developed cloud processing technology, BIM models can be accessed and manipulated seamlessly. Users can interact with models anytime via PCs, tablets, or smartphones, enabling multidisciplinary collaboration on a cloud-based platform.
By integrating BIM applications with on-site mobile communication and coordination systems, the technology extends to processes including scheduling (5D), procurement, cost management, quality control, and acceptance. This integration optimizes and enhances mobile communication and coordination on the construction site.

To support Vanke Group’s strong push for fully decorated residential systems, this project’s technical cooperation included specially modeled interior decoration models tailored to different decoration delivery standards. These models encompass components such as electrical fixtures, hardware, bathrooms, home appliances, and more, all arranged and positioned according to standardized design practices.
Users can experience indoor walkthroughs from a first-person perspective using simple and intuitive controls, enhancing engagement and understanding of the space.
The adoption of cloud rendering technology has significantly enhanced user experience by enabling tasks that previously required high-end hardware—like model manipulation and indoor walkthroughs—to run smoothly on various devices. Looking ahead, through collaboration with relevant suppliers and expansion of the component model library, homebuyers will be able to select or replace components within their interiors easily, enabling truly customized decoration options.

This project’s technical collaboration fully leverages Vanke’s extensive resources in construction projects alongside Meixin Baozhu’s technological strengths in BIM application technology and cloud computing platforms. The partnership bridges the gap between technology R&D and construction projects, fostering further industrialization and advancement of BIM application technology.
