How to Create System Types with the New Features in Revit MEP 2019
When copying system types in Revit MEP 2019, the new system type retains the same system classification as the original. This allows you to modify the copied system type without affecting the original system type or its instances.
To create a custom system type for ducts, open the Project Browser and expand Clan > Duct system.
Tip: To create a custom system type for pipelines, expand Clan > Pipeline system instead.
Right-click on an existing system type and select Copy.
Then, right-click the copied system type, choose Rename, and enter the name for the new system type.
For example, you can create a new system type named High pressure air supply derived from the existing Air supply system type, keeping the same system classification.
