How to Fix the Automatic Closure of Conceptual Mass Environment Windows When Opening Revit
Recently, I have been working on a low-end computer, which has caused some inconvenience. In particular, when using Revit, I encountered a frustrating issue: every time I open the conceptual mass window, it closes automatically and returns me to the main interface. After several attempts to resolve this, I realized it might be related to hardware acceleration. I decided to try disabling it, and to my surprise, it worked!
Error Message When Opening the Conceptual Mass Environment Window
When you open the conceptual mass window, an error message appears.
Clicking “Confirm” makes the window appear briefly, but I still couldn’t access the environment properly.
Solution: Disable Hardware Acceleration
Go to Options and turn off hardware acceleration.
After disabling hardware acceleration, the conceptual mass interface opens without any issues.
As a reminder, if you plan to use Revit regularly, it is best to work on a high-end machine. Low-end computers often struggle and may lead to performance problems.
