How to Draw a Full-Step Spiral in Revit
To create a spiral staircase, specify the starting point and radius. You can use the Full Step Spiral option, which allows you to generate stair runs exceeding 360 degrees.
Here is a simple example to illustrate the steps:
Navigate through the following: Stairs — Stairs (by Component) — Stairway — Full Spiral Staircase — Complete
Note:
1. Determine the starting point: When a triangle appears, it indicates the midpoint position. While drawing, decide where you want to place the spiral based on your preference.
2. Set the radius: After choosing the location, enter the desired radius value.
3. Direction of stair runs: By default, stair runs are created in a counterclockwise direction. If you want to change this, go to the Tools panel and click Flip to switch the rotation direction from counterclockwise to clockwise.
