Building Information Modeling (BIM)
This term has two key meanings:
1. The digital representation of the physical and functional characteristics of construction projects and their facilities. It serves as a shared information resource throughout the entire lifecycle of the project, providing essential data to support various decision-making processes. This is often referred to as the “model.”
2. The process of creating, utilizing, and managing these building information models, commonly known as “model applications.”
