1. The BIM deliverables for mechanical and electrical detailed design should include the following: the mechanical and electrical detailed design model, collision detection analysis report, bill of quantities, and detailed mechanical and electrical design drawings.
2. The detailed mechanical and electrical design drawings must cover the contents outlined in the table below.
3. The BIM software used for mechanical and electrical detailed design should comply with provisions 3.0.6 and 6.1.3. Beyond the standard strip functions, it is recommended that the software includes the following specialized capabilities:
3.1 Integration of pipelines;
3.2 Parameter review and calculations;
3.3 Model collision detection;
3.4 Automated generation of detailed design drawings;
3.5 A component library reflecting actual manufacturer products.
