Key Components of BIM Models for Construction Process Simulation

1. The construction process simulation model can either be derived from the completed construction organization design model and supplemented as needed, or created based on construction drawings, design models, or detailed design models.

2. Prior to simulating the construction process, it is essential to clearly define the scope of the model involved. The model should then be adjusted to fit the specific requirements of the simulation task while adhering to the following criteria:

2.1 If the simulation involves collision detection, the model must have sufficient detail and an appropriate working face size to ensure accuracy.

2.2 When the simulation includes the integration of multiple construction activities, the temporal and logical relationships between each process must be properly maintained.

2.3 Additionally, beyond these points, the model should satisfy any other requirements specific to specialized construction process simulations.
