1. BIM technology should be integrated into the entire production process of precast concrete components, including process design, component manufacturing, and finished product management.
2. When applying BIM in the production of precast concrete components, a detailed production model can be created using design models, production confirmation letters, change confirmation letters, and other design documents. This model helps generate resource allocation plans and processing drawings by extracting material lists and preparing production schedules. Additionally, the model supports tracking progress, costs, and quality during both production and quality inspection stages, as illustrated below.
3. The precast concrete component production model can be derived from the detailed design model, with additional information such as molds and production processes incorporated.
4. It is recommended to replicate steel reinforcement bars based on design drawings and production models of the precast components. This enables the generation of steel bar cutting documents and lists, with all relevant information linked or attached to the model.
5. Establishing a standardized coding system for product information is essential. This system should include:
- A component coding system aligned with the production model data, covering component types, identification codes, material attributes, and geometric information.
- A production process management coding system that includes contract codes, workstation codes, equipment station codes, as well as coding for management personnel and workers.
