How to Create L-Shaped Corner Blinds in Revit
1. Launch Revit and open the metric window family template under the New Family component (see Figure 1).
Figure 1
2. In the metric window file, delete the existing opening. Then, create a reference line within the floor plan reference elevation. Add parameters for width and angle J. Mark the angle parameters on both sides of the reference plane and reference line. Use the Align command along with the Tab key to lock the endpoint of the reference line wall onto the reference plane (see Figure 2).

3. Create a hollow extrusion using the menu options (see Figure 3).

4. Select the path along the reference line. Next, edit the contour line at the window height on the right elevation view. Use the Align command to lock the contour line both in front and on the window height reference plane. Click Finish to switch to the 3D view. Under the Modify menu, use the Cut command to cut out the window opening (see Figure 4).

5. Create a solid extrusion to form the window frame. Select the path along the reference line again, then edit the contour line at the window height on the right elevation. Use the Align command to lock the contour line in front and on the window height reference plane. Complete the operation. Afterwards, create hollow extrusions for both the exterior and right elevations. Switch to 3D view and use the Cut command to carve out the window frame (see Figure 5).

6. Load the prepared blinds into the family, adjust them to fit the internal dimensions of the window frame, and lock the blinds to the frame (see Figure 6).

7. Finally, load the completed family into your project (see Figure 7).

8. This process results in a corner louver that can be adjusted to any desired angle.
