How to Add Annotations to Pipe Outer Diameters in Revit

Adding Annotations for Pipe Outer Diameter in Revit

Method 1: Draw the pipeline using its nominal diameter, then modify the label on the tag to display the pipe’s outer diameter.

Method 2: Edit the pipe segment by setting the nominal diameter to match the pipe’s outer diameter. This way, you draw the pipe directly using the outer diameter. However, you will need to adjust the connector dimensions on any bathroom fixtures connected to the pipe accordingly.
