Revit MEP Wiring Modification Solution
Start by selecting at least two duct segments within the section where wiring or alignment adjustments are needed.
Next, click the Select Multiple option, then navigate to the Layout tab, and finally open the Routing Solutions tab to access the tools for adjusting pipe network routing.
Under the Wiring Solution panel, the following wiring tools will be available:
Control Points: Use the Add Control Points (+) and Delete Control Points (–) buttons to manage vertex control points on duct segments. To add a control point, click the plus sign, then click on the duct where you want to place it. You can drag this point to reshape the duct routing. Revit software will automatically insert transition parts and fittings to maintain connectivity. To remove a vertex, click the minus button and select the vertex you wish to delete.
For solutions, use the arrow buttons to cycle through the suggested options (Solution 1 through n).
Select the most suitable solution.
Make any necessary adjustments by adding, deleting, or dragging control points.
Once satisfied, click Complete to finalize the routing.
