Managing Excess Lines in 3D Models Using Revit

How to manage excess lines on 3D models in Revit. During Revit modeling, it is common to encounter numerous lines between the contact or intersection points of model components. These extra lines can detract from the visual appeal of the model when viewed in 3D. To improve the aesthetics, you can remove these unnecessary lines by adjusting the geometric connections.

1: Click on any model component. In the pop-up modification tab, select the connection within the geometry and click to edit.

2: After selecting the connection, your cursor will change to indicate selection mode. By choosing the connection between components, the unwanted line will disappear.
