Located on Akitani Beach near Hayayama Town—the birthplace of Japanese yacht culture—this villa offers breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. Inspired by its stunning natural surroundings, the design embraces a sculptural form, featuring a large arched roof and a series of arches that symbolize the white rolling waves of the sea.

Though situated on a southwest-facing slope, the villa’s roof is oriented westward, framing views of Mount Fuji. The design permeates the ambiance of the ocean, incorporating multiple elements that offer diverse perspectives of the sea from within the architecture.

The basement entrance hall evokes the imagery of a seabed, while the white spiral staircase resembles shells spiraling up from the ocean floor to the surface. From the top of the stairs, visitors are treated to expansive views of the Pacific Ocean.

The building’s construction respects the natural slope of the site, evident in the stepped gradient of the arched roof. The floors follow the terrain’s contour, minimizing earth removal and reducing environmental impact. This thoughtful design creates numerous advantageous vantage points throughout the interior—from entrances and living areas to dining rooms, attic spaces, and fully equipped kitchens—each offering unique ocean views from varying heights.
Additionally, the emerald green flooring evokes the vibrant colors of reefs and shallow waters, while the main floor’s color palette imparts the feeling of sailing aboard a yacht.

The curved arched roof creates a spacious interior impression. The structure is primarily reinforced concrete, while the roof is crafted from a wooden framework consisting of continuous arches made from 7-meter-long, 900-millimeter-wide cross-laminated timber panels. This complex design demands precise planning and expert construction techniques.

Unique large windows at each of the living room’s four corners open fully, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor spaces and extending the living area with a refreshing outdoor atmosphere. The terrace boasts an infinity pool, a wood-burning sauna, an outdoor kitchen, and a massage bathtub accessible from outside. These features create an ideal setting for entertaining family and friends.
This seaside villa offers resort-style amenities, perfect for a relaxed lifestyle deeply connected to the crystal-clear sea at your doorstep.
