In the REVIT environment, there is a powerful plugin that allows you to package all RVT links, DWG links, and images directly from the interface. Additionally, it can clean up working sets or remove unnecessary components and drawings from your files. The key feature is that it redefines the paths of linked files for better management.
A common issue when sharing Revit models is forgetting to include all related files. Without these, recipients may be unable to use the model properly. By using eTransmit for Autodesk Revit, all relevant files are automatically included in the transfer folder, significantly reducing errors. All fully specified (absolute) paths of related files are converted to relative paths or set to “No Path”, ensuring the model can locate the necessary files.
