ASWA has designed a new office complex where the building’s curved forms blend seamlessly with the natural landscape. This creates a fluid connection between indoor and outdoor spaces. Situated along the highway on Bangkok’s east side, the Toyota Thailand Marketing Center aims to connect people with nature. The workspace opens onto a green courtyard, inviting natural light and lush scenery that offers relaxation during working hours.

The complex spans 36,600 square meters and serves as a mixed-use commercial office building. Located within the Toyota test drive area, it emphasizes a connection between people, nature, and automobiles by integrating landscaping into the architecture and interiors. The design is organized into three main zones: “Community,” “Conference,” and “Office,” inspired by the concept of train tracks, which is reflected in the building’s layout and landscape design.

Given the site’s existing function as a Toyota car test drive area, the design draws inspiration from driving tracks. The building’s curved edges mimic the turns of a track, with each corner representing a track’s curve. Additionally, green landscapes are integrated into the grey spaces throughout the overlapping floor plans, enhancing the connection with nature.

The four-story office building is the complex’s centerpiece, covering nearly 9,900 square meters. The first and second floors serve as indoor parking, featuring a rectangular floor plan with curved corners and a perforated aluminum facade that allows natural light and air circulation. The third and fourth floors adopt an overlapping runway-shaped layout, enclosed by continuous glass curtain walls.
The main office area on the third floor consists of blocks with varying ceiling heights surrounding a central open courtyard. This design floods the interior with natural light and offers views of green landscaping, enhancing the workspace environment.

The fourth floor opens onto a larger outdoor activity space, inviting occupants to enjoy the natural surroundings. Scheduled for completion in 2022, the complex will feature an exhibition hall, retail stores, restaurants, coworking spaces, offices, test drive areas, and a new headquarters designed to foster community engagement.
