Fengzhi Clinic is a beauty clinic located in the heart of Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand. The building features a steel structure as its main framework, with glass bricks serving as the primary exterior wall material.
Dr. Bas requested that the building attract the attention of passersby at the intersection, while maintaining a cool interior environment. Since the building faces west, it was essential to ensure adequate natural lighting and comfortable spacing within the glass brick structure. Glass bricks were chosen as the main material because they effectively address these concerns and provide naturally lit areas inside the clinic.
The surrounding trees require natural sunlight, and the interior must remain cool. In the afternoons, sunlight creates dazzling reflections on the building’s surface, making it as eye-catching as the owner envisioned.
This project served as an experimental design for us, merging creative ideas with the owner’s primary requirements. Visitors to the clinic experience a welcoming atmosphere that feels far from ordinary healthcare facilities.
We hope that visitors feel relaxed upon entering this space, surrounded by trees and gardens. This design makes the building outstanding inside and out, establishing a modern beauty clinic that perfectly fulfills the needs of both clients and owners.
