In April 2015, the Xinchu·Qingtian Plaza project officially commenced on-site construction and began implementing BIM services. Xinchu·Qingtian Square, located in Huayuan, Changsha, represents another specialized BIM project for our company, following our work on the third and fourth phases of the Golden Bund project. This project is also one of the prominent super high-rise BIM service projects we have participated in.
Project Name: Xinchu·Qingtian Square Project
Location: Central Business District, Wuyi Avenue, Changsha City
Construction Scale: Xinchu·Qingtian Square lies at the traditional heart of government, business, and commerce in Changsha. The entrance of Yuanjialing Station on Metro Line 2 connects directly to the commercial podium of the project, which is a premium property built atop the subway.
The above-ground structure consists of a five-story commercial podium topped by two towers: a main tower and an auxiliary tower. The east tower rises 300 meters and houses office spaces, a super five-star hotel, and a top-tier business club. The west tower, at 270 meters, is designed as a hotel-style office building with its own elite business club. Beneath the towers, a six-story basement serves as parking, hotel logistics, and equipment rooms. The total construction area covers 332,008 square meters.
BIM Service Scope:
1. On-site support: Providing BIM training and guidance to the client’s technical staff, participating in construction coordination, and delivering technical assistance.
2. Development of mechanical, electrical, and structural BIM models.
3. Collision detection and pipeline integration: Optimizing pipeline routing, identifying unavoidable clashes in design drawings, and proposing practical solutions.
The Xinchu·Qingtian Plaza project was designed and developed by top international firms, including Liu Rongguang and Wu Zhenmin Architects (Hong Kong) Limited (DLN), HBA from the United States, and POD from Hong Kong, all following the latest global design standards.
The project features a grand super-tall service hall, over 50 international brand high-speed elevators, 4.5-meter-high office spaces, and international standard premium property services.
