Rhino 6.0 fails to allow object selection after installation on a Windows 7 system, while it works fine on Windows 10. The objects are not locked. Could anyone explain what might be causing this issue?

After reinstalling, launch Rhinoceros 6.0 and navigate to Tools > Options > Rhino Options (Appearance) > Display Language. At the bottom, select Chinese (China) as the display language, then restart the program once.
