The owner, a young entrepreneur without children, has a passion for travel and modern architecture. Inspired by a sci-fi movie house photo he brought us, he challenged our team to design a “movie house.” We eagerly embraced this unique opportunity. The project’s functional requirements are concise and unconventional, reflecting the client’s lifestyle and guiding the overall design approach.
The building’s form is defined by the intersection of three distinct volumes, which intertwine to create dynamic, multi-level spaces. The floor plan features prestressed slabs that convey a sense of movement, while defining stable zones such as balconies and seating areas near the dining space. These slabs also delineate pedestrian circulation around the main volume.

The metal framework connects the floor slabs, providing structural balance and transitioning into a pergola that shades the barbecue and pool terrace areas. This addition enhances the facade’s visual contrast and imparts a sense of lightness to the overall composition.

The same metallic elements form the covered garage at the rear of the property. The house is oriented to face the area with the best views and flooring, with even the north facade positioned away from direct sunlight.

On the first floor, we designed a multifunctional space that combines living quarters, kitchen, home theater, and wine cellar. This area opens seamlessly onto the balcony through sliding panels that integrate into the walls, offering complete openness and fluid indoor-outdoor connection.

The upper level houses a spacious dressing room and a suite featuring two bathrooms. An expansive terrace, adjoining the bedroom and sheltered by a sunroom, offers a tranquil retreat with panoramic views of the Goiânia city skyline.
The project’s material palette highlights the architectural volumes with a distinctive language characteristic of the firm. Exposed concrete slabs, wooden battens, coarse stone, reinforced concrete flooring, and extensive glass framed elements combine to create a harmonious structure that resonates with the surrounding natural environment.
