This project, commissioned by Adolf Würth GmbH & Co. KG, is the Carmen Würth Forum Center located in Künzelsau, southern Germany. It represents an expansion of the existing concert and large event halls, introducing a flexible conference area and an art museum. The goal of this extension is to enrich the spatial functions of the forum center and establish a public hub through the addition of the art museum.

△ General layout plan

The Art Museum is designed to showcase the Würth collection while also serving as a venue for large-scale events. Key features include a coffee shop, an expansive lobby with a large exhibition hall, and a refined small-scale flat art gallery. The enamel façade creates a dialogue between the interior spaces and the surrounding natural landscape. Additionally, the sculpture park enhances the connection between art and the environment.

The architects drew inspiration from industrial architecture, reflected in the material choices for the forum center. Their design emphasizes both integration and dialogue between the building and its surrounding environment. At the same time, they ensured that the forum center provides suitable office space for Würth’s company needs.
