How to Fix Revit's Issue with Displaying Volumes in Views

How to Fix Revit’s Issue with Viewing Volumes in Views

If you open a view that contains volumes but cannot see them, this guide will help you resolve the issue.

Problem: The “Display Volume Shape and Floor” function may be disabled, or the view might be zoomed in too closely, making the volumes invisible.

Solutions: Try the following steps:

1. Click on Volume and Venue tab, then go to the Conceptual Volume panel and enable Display Volume Shape and Floor.

2. Use the ZF command to reset the zoom scale for better visibility.

3. Press VG to open the Visibility/Graphics dialog. Under the Model Categories tab, expand Volume. Make sure both Volume and Volume Floor are checked. Click OK to apply the changes.
