How to Fix Automatic Pipe Connection Errors in Revit
When drawing pipes to connect sanitary appliances in Revit, you may often encounter an error message stating that an automatic connection cannot be found. So, how can you resolve this issue effectively?
First, inspect the sanitary appliance and determine the orientation of its connection port. If the port is vertical, the pipeline might be positioned at the same height as the appliance, preventing a proper connection, as illustrated below:
To fix this, adjust the pipeline height or draw a short segment of pipe manually to establish the connection, as shown in the image:
If the connection port faces backward while the pipeline lies in front of the sanitary appliance, you will need to draw a segment of pipe first and then connect it manually, as demonstrated here:
