How to Fix Clutter Caused by Revit Shadows
When shadows are enabled in a view, you may notice unwanted artifacts such as points, white dots, and other shapes cluttering the display.
In the example below, the red arrow highlights the graphic clutter that appears when shadows are turned on.
Issue: This problem often occurs due to overlapping geometric shapes within the model.
Solutions: Consider trying one or more of the following approaches:
- Remove any overlapping geometric shapes from the model.
- Use the Connecting Geometric Shapes tool, which merges overlapping shapes into a single entity.
- Hide one of the overlapping elements in the current view.
