Question:
When opening or working with a Revit model, you may encounter the following error message:
“Display error

A video driver error has occurred. Revit will exit. To continue, please restart Revit.”
Reason:
This error indicates a problem with the display driver that prevents Revit from running properly.
Solution:
Try one or more of the following steps to resolve the issue:
- Update your graphics card driver to the latest version from the manufacturer’s website.
- Disable hardware acceleration.
- Verify that your installed graphics card driver is compatible with your version of Windows.
- Avoid running Revit continuously for long periods. Leaving Revit open overnight or for extended durations may cause graphics instability. Regularly restarting Revit can help prevent this problem.
