Residue-Free Autodesk Uninstallation Tool for Revit and More
We frequently rely on Autodesk software for our engineering projects. Besides CAD and Revit, we often install a variety of additional programs—some useful, others not—that can be challenging to manage. Given the complexity of these applications, serious issues or crashes can prevent them from opening, and simply uninstalling and reinstalling may not resolve the problem. In some cases, a full system reinstall becomes necessary.
To help avoid such headaches, we’d like to introduce a very practical official utility: the Autodesk Uninstallation Tool.
1. Autodesk Uninstall Tool:
When you install software like CAD or Revit, the Autodesk Uninstallation Tool is usually installed by default.
You can find it by searching for “Autodesk Uninstall Tool” in the Start menu.
Alternatively, you can locate it directly in the file system at the default path:
C:Program Files (x86)Common FilesAutodesk SharedUninstall ToolR1
If the tool is missing or not installed on your system, don’t worry. You can download it using the link below:

2. How to Uninstall Autodesk Products:
If you have already downloaded the Uninstallation Tool, there’s no need to install it. Just double-click UninstallTool.exe to launch the program.
Once open, you will see a list of all installed Autodesk products on your computer. Simply check the boxes next to the software you want to remove, then click Uninstall to proceed.
The tool supports a wide range of Autodesk versions, covering multiple release years. This means one utility can handle all your Autodesk software uninstallations—very convenient!
