Exporting Drawings from Revit to DWG: Stuck at 52% Completion

When exporting drawings from Revit to DWG, the process often stalls at 52%

Question:

A user reported that during the export of drawings from Revit to DWG format, the export operation consistently hangs at 52% and never completes.

The log shows the following message near the point where the export stalls:

DBG_INFO: Face ID not found in exported object ID mapping: line 1132 (located in d:\ship rtm\2020_px64\source\foundation\geomutil\vhlr\gcontextvhlr.cpp lines).

Status:

We are currently investigating the potential causes of this issue and searching for appropriate solutions.

Additional Information:

This problem may occur if large fill patterns are applied using stage filters or if the views in the drawing are corrupted.

Solution:

Please try the following steps:

1. Delete the view currently placed on the drawing and then reinsert it.

2. Replace the fill pattern used in the stage filter with the “Entity” option instead of specific patterns. After exporting, you can adjust the fill pattern in AutoCAD to restore the original appearance.
