How to Fix Revit’s Issue with Saving Cloud Models
If you encounter an error preventing your model from being saved to the cloud, this is likely due to your cloud model not being uploaded to BIM 360 Document Management.
Several factors can cause this problem, including:
- Network disconnection or poor connectivity
- Temporary service unavailability
- Incorrect cloud folder permission settings
- Insufficient local disk space
Solutions:
1. Verify your internet connection is stable and try saving again.
2. Open the Revit Cloud Worksharing / Cloud Models panel and check the “Operation Status.” Make sure the service is running normally before attempting again.
3. Contact your BIM 360 Document Management administrator to ensure your folder permissions are set to Edit or higher.
4. Free up disk space on your local drive to ensure there is enough room for saving the model.
