Efficiently Create Rectangular Grids in Revit
Revit allows you to quickly and precisely generate rectangular grids using simple settings. Navigate to the “Baoye General” tab, then under “Building Structure”, select Region and click on Rectangular Grid.
When the dialog box appears, double-click the module box on the right to choose your desired module. The selected module will then appear on the left, where you can adjust the number as needed. (Here, the module refers to the distance between grid axes.) You can select either Left Depth or Right Depth to determine the direction in which the axis extends, as illustrated below.
Additionally, by clicking Lower Room or Upper Room, you can set whether the vertical axis lines extend downward or upward in the module box.
A preview of the configured grid will be displayed in the center of the dialog box based on your settings. Once you are satisfied, click Confirm, then click within the drawing area to insert the grid points and complete the operation.
After finishing, the grid in the drawing area will match the preview exactly.
