How to Reuse Views and Drawings from Other Projects in Revit

The following types of views can be copied into your current project:

1. Detailed schedules; 2. Drawing views; 3. Rendered images; 4. Drawings containing only drawing views.

To insert views from another project file, follow these steps:

1. Open the project file where you want to use views from other projects.

2. Go to the Insert tab, then click Import panel, and select Insert from File from the dropdown menu.

3. Choose the project file that contains the views you want to import, then click Open.

4. In the Insert View dialog box, select the views or sheets you want to include in your current project, then click OK.

5. The selected views or drawings will be copied into your current project and will appear in the Project Browser.
