This unique summer villa, located on an irregular plot in Baragrande, Piauí state, Brazil, embraces its unconventional building layout and roof design. The project highlights simplicity and natural materials, harmoniously integrating with the local landscape and architectural traditions.

▲ Overall site layout

The house’s understated elegance is achieved through a Brazilian brown tiled roof combined with circular wood beams, stone, and white brick structures. Local artisans’ crafts enrich the design, adding authenticity and cultural depth. The open-plan layout blurs the boundaries between covered spaces and terraces, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor experience.

The swimming pool serves as a central design element, connecting different parts of the house and defining the flow throughout the property.
