Revit table modeling allows for batch exporting and copying of types.
To get started, go to the “Baoye Modeling” tab and select “Table Modeling” under the “Building Structure” section. Then, click on ‘Template Export’ from the drop-down menu. This option lets you export Excel templates, which serve as references for ‘type copying’.
In the “Export Excel Template” dialog box that appears, click the “Browse” button to open the folder selection window. Choose the destination folder where you want to save the Excel template. After selecting the folder, return to the dialog box and click “OK” to export the template.
Once the export is complete, a success confirmation message will appear.
You can then locate the exported Excel template file in the designated folder. Based on this template, you can create a customized type file that meets your requirements.
Next, click the “Table Modeling” button again from the drop-down menu.
In the pop-up “Type Copy” dialog box, select the category and family information for the type you want to create. Click the “Select” button to import your prepared Excel file.
After the type creation process finishes, a success message will confirm the operation.
