How to Merge Shapes in Revit: A Step-by-Step Guide

Steps to Merge Shapes in Revit

During conceptual design, you can convert a shape into its underlying editable curves.

Once the curves are edited, you can recreate the shape.

Start by selecting the shape you want to modify.

Then, go to the Modify | Shape Elements tab and find the Shape Elements panel, where you can access the Fusion tool.

Activating Fusion will remove all surfaces from the shape, leaving only the contour curves and paths visible.

Edit these curves and paths as needed to achieve the desired form.
