How to Use Gutters in Revit
Once you have added a gutter, you can easily add or delete pipe segments, flip their direction, and adjust the gutter size.
To start, select the gutter in the drawing area.
Then, go to the Modify | Eaves Gutter tab and find the Outline panel where you can add or remove line segments.
Click on the reference edge to add or remove the gutter. Keep an eye on the status bar for guidance on valid reference points.
Adjusting the Size of the Roof Gutter
Select the gutter in the drawing area, then drag the control handle to resize it to your desired position.
Flipping the Roof Gutter
With the gutter selected in the drawing area:
- In a 3D view, click the flip control to flip the gutter around either the vertical or horizontal axis.
- In a 2D view, right-click on the gutter and choose either Flip around the horizontal axis or Flip around the vertical axis.
