Mastering Command Techniques to Create Mooncake Families in Revit

How to Skillfully Use Commands to Create Mooncake Families in Revit

1. Start by creating a new metric standard model, as illustrated below.

2. Use the Stretch command to draw one corner of the mooncake, then pull it to the desired height in 3D, as shown in the figure.

3. Select the stretched corner, then apply the Radial Array command. Choose the center point as the origin and drag to array the shape evenly, as demonstrated.

4. Connect each segment to form a complete mooncake shape, and remove any unnecessary lines, as depicted.

5. Use the Hollow Layout command to soften the edges and corners of the mooncake, enhancing its appearance, as seen in the image.

7. With the basic prototype ready, you can now use the Stretch command to create your preferred shapes on the mooncake surface, as shown.

8. Add model text according to your design, as illustrated in the figure.

9. Finally, apply appropriate materials to complete your mooncake model.
