2020 Jiangxi International Prefabricated Building and Modular Housing Expo

2020 (Jiangxi) International Prefabricated Building and Integrated Housing Exhibition

According to the Guiding Opinions issued by the People’s Government of Jiangxi Province on advancing the development of prefabricated buildings, by 2020, 30% of newly constructed buildings in the province are expected to use prefabricated construction methods. Government-funded projects will account for 50% of these. By the end of 2025, the goal is for 50% of all new buildings to adopt prefabricated construction, with all eligible government investment projects implementing this approach.

The Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Jiangxi Province has released the “Implementation Plan for Accelerating the Development of Prefabricated Buildings in Jiangxi Province.” This plan establishes a provincial joint conference system to promote prefabricated buildings, appoints liaison officers, and forms the first expert committees dedicated to prefabricated construction. Governments at all levels actively support the growth of prefabricated buildings, with several cities setting up leadership groups or joint conference systems focused on attracting investment.

Several leading prefabricated building companies, including Changsha Yuanda, Shanghai Baoye, Shanghai Chengjian, and Hangxiao Steel Structure, have established operations in Jiangxi. Among them, Nanchang Chaohui Construction, Municipal Yuanda, Ganzhou Construction Industrialization Co., Ltd., and Ganzhou Huaqiang Hangxiao Construction Co., Ltd. have officially begun production. Additionally, Zhaohui Urban Construction Group Co., Ltd., Jiangxi Xiongyu (Group) Co., Ltd., and Middling Coal Construction Group Co., Ltd. have been designated by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development as the first batch of prefabricated construction industrial bases.

In cities such as Nanchang, Jiujiang, Ganzhou, Fuzhou, Pingxiang, Xinyu, and Yichun, construction of 1.95 million square meters of prefabricated buildings is underway. This unprecedented development has significantly raised awareness and enthusiasm for prefabricated construction across the province. Various regions in Jiangxi have also introduced supportive policies to boost the local prefabricated construction industry. This new wave of rapid growth has once again energized the development of prefabricated construction throughout the Ganpo region.

The 2020 China (Jiangxi) International Prefabricated Building and Integrated Housing Expo was established in response to strong industry advocacy and market demand. The expo features dozens of model systems, including prefabricated concrete structures, heavy and light steel structures, wood and bamboo structures, prefabricated decoration, and passive low-energy buildings. It showcases advanced technologies and products such as quick-install wall panels, integrated bathrooms, integrated pipeline cabinets, intelligent security systems, and comprehensive smart home management solutions. The event highlights trends toward refined, user-friendly, aging-friendly, intelligent, and durable green housing.

More than 300 companies will present their latest R&D achievements at the expo, showcasing cutting-edge “black technology” and innovations that make buildings smarter. For example, a three-bedroom, one-living-room villa will be displayed, equipped with a kitchen, bathroom, and fully intelligent appliances. Remarkably, this villa can be packed up and relocated to any city. Another highlight is a self-service mobile intelligent ecological hotel featuring no front desk service, fully intelligent control throughout the building, and mobility—earning it the nickname of a modern “Noah’s Ark” that can travel with you thanks to advanced technology.

The high-tech features of prefabricated integrated toilets will shine at the exhibition, as this sector has become a national development priority. Prefabricated integrated bathroom cases and demonstration projects from brands such as Huida Zhugong, Dongpeng Integrated Bathroom, Haiou Zhugong, Keyi Residence, Daka Residence, Jinshali Bathroom, Hongli Integrated Bathroom, and Xiwu Home Technology will be showcased.

The expo occupies three major exhibition halls with a total display area of 30,000 square meters and hosts over 400 exhibitors. It is expected to attract more than 50,000 visitors. Focused on the prefabricated construction industry, the event draws tens of thousands of trade professionals, engineering buyers, designers, and construction firms. With professional organization, extensive visitor outreach, and high-quality business opportunities, the expo serves as an ideal platform for expanding product distribution channels and promoting brands within the prefabricated construction sector.
