How to Quickly Adjust Component Transparency in 3D Views Using Revit

If a concrete wall is covered and you want to see through it, here’s how you can adjust its transparency:

1. Select the wall by clicking on it with your mouse.

2. Right-click on the selected wall, then navigate to the panel and choose the content option, as shown in the image below.

3. After selecting the category, you will be redirected to the View Specific Category Graphics settings. Click on Surface Transparency to display a progress bar. Use this bar to adjust the transparency level according to your preference.

5. Click Apply to preview the changes. Once satisfied, click OK to exit the panel and confirm. The resulting transparency effect will appear as demonstrated in the figure below.
